5 Light Set-up

This popular set-up is always a favourite on the Advanced course.

It's built up from a single softbox in front and above the subject. A hair light is added directly above to give colour and texture to the hair and a splash of light over the shoulders. We then add a softbox under the chin to light the neck area and cheekbones.

Two narrow strip softboxes are added to each side of the subject to give smoothing light and improve skin texture.
